Over Fantasy World

Fantasy World is een Belgische webshop uit Stevoort, bij Hasselt, voor iedereen die houdt van spel en plezier. Sinds 2020 helpen we klanten met bordspellen, kaartspellen, Pokémon kaarten, Disney Lorcana, puzzels, collectibles en leuke cadeaus voor jong en oud. Ons assortiment blijft bovendien voortdurend groeien met nieuwe spellen, collectibles en hobbyproducten.

Wij zijn Robin en Amber, een koppel met een grote liefde voor gezelschapsspellen, Disney, Pokémon en alles wat mensen samenbrengt rond de tafel. Wat begon als een passie in onze vrije tijd, groeide uit tot een webshop waar we met veel zorg producten selecteren die we zelf leuk, mooi of interessant vinden.

Naast onze webshop kan je ons ook regelmatig terugvinden op beurzen, evenementen en lokale markten, waar we graag in contact komen met andere spelliefhebbers en verzamelaars.

Onze droom is om Fantasy World verder te laten groeien tot een gezellige plek waar je spellen kunt ontdekken, uitproberen en samen beleven met vrienden of familie. Tot die tijd helpen we je graag online verder met advies, vragen over producten of suggesties voor een leuk spel.

Hello, I'm Robin and manager of Fantasy World. In addition to the webshop, I work at an automation company that provides automation for animal feed factories. I also do volunteer work at the Red Cross Balen-Olmen and CoderDojo Belgium (Geel-Westerlo-Balen), this organization teaches young people programming during fun workshops on Saturday morning.

My favorite game has to be “Potion explosion”, because that is the only game where I can win every now and then. Other than that I'm a good loser and Risk, Carcasonne, Azul and Andor are definitely at the top of my favorite games list! In addition to board games, I am also a big fan of Disney and Pokémon, as a hobby I collect cards and I sometimes play the trading card game myself with friends online or at someone's house.

Hi I'm Amber, Robin's partner and I'm helping him in the business. I work in the care sector and currently work in a care facility for adults with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities. I also volunteer at the Red Cross and keep an eye on our two cats Simba and Nala. Who like to eat the fallen dice, cards, pawns and puzzle pieces.

There is so much choice that I can't really pick a favorite game, but I love playing Catan, Risk, Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride and so much more. I especially like the games with which I can make Robin fat! Like Robin, I am a real fan of board games, but my greatest love is Disney and then I have a particular soft spot for that sweet, but sometimes evil, little blue Stitch.

They almost forgot to add me to this page but I am the dragon, the mascot of Fantasy World. I would like to take you into the imaginative world of board games and everything you can still find on the website. I may look cute but make no mistake, I can be hot-tempered too. I like to set everything on fire, but you don't have to be afraid because I'm happy to help you choose a game.
